This Touratech Suspension Plug & Travel shock absorber is simply exchanged for the BMW shock absorber. The existing plugs and switches on the handlebars are used as usual. This shock absorber is integrated into the motorcycle via the original BMW control unit. This shock absorber can be used in combination with the original BMW front shock absorber. This Touratech Suspension Plug & Travel shock absorber is manufactured with the same precision components and parts that have proven themselves in our shock absorbers over thousands of kilometers of travel under the toughest conditions. The heart of this shock absorber is the DDA high-performance valve developed and patented by Tractive. This means that the damping can be adapted to any driving situation in fractions of a second. For the high loads of long-distance travel, our shock absorbers have larger piston diameters and therefore more oil volume. This results in better cooling at a high damping frequency. The shock absorber and the damping are more stable and the seals are less stressed.
